Slim-Body Part

He doesn’t necessarily have a favorite body part of his own, but he’s confident in his strength. Being a rancher definitely is a huge catalyst to that. As far as his partner is concerned, he has an affinity for her neck and jawline. He has a habit of placing his hands on her neck and face when he kisses her and places soft kisses in those areas frequently.

Naomi was standing at the stove preparing a fresh pot of coffee when Slim walked inside. He quietly walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Slim!” Naomi jumped, spilling some coffee grounds on the stove top.

“Didn’t mean to startle you.” He wrapped his arms tighter around her waist and bent down to kiss the side of her neck.

“Slim Sherman! You better behave yourself!” She brought her voice down to a harsh whisper even though they were the only two in the house. “Daisy and Mike should be back from town any minute and I need to get this coffee on.”

Grinning to himself, he straightened up and released his grip on her while she finished her task. “Alright, now the coffee is on.” He sat in one of the kitchen chairs and pulled her down into his lap.

“You’re insane, what if Jess comes walking in?” She placed her hands on his chest and seeing the mischief in his eyes, knew her argument was falling on deaf ears.

“I gave him something to work on for a few minutes; we’ve got time.” He ran his fingers along her jawline and pulled her into a soft kiss. It didn’t take long for her to relax against him as he began to rub his thumb back and forth along her jaw.

Naomi pulled away for a breath and gave a soft groan as his soft, full lips met her neck. She felt a light graze of his tongue as he moved up to her ear. Her eyes were closed as she leaned into him and let him do as he wished.

With his face buried in her neck, he could smell the light perfume oil she used and feel her pulse beginning to race against his lips. Since she’d moved in, sharing a room with Daisy until their wedding, he’d started taking a few more liberties like this than he probably should. Her uncle, Mort Corey would likely kill him if he saw them, but the wedding was in a few days what was the harm.

Neither one of them heard the front door open and Jess stopped in his tracks when he reached the kitchen. He knew Daisy and Mike weren't far behind him, so he cleared his throat.

Naomi’s eyes snapped open and she tried to move off of Slim’s lap, but he had a good grip on her. She could feel her face turning ten different shades of red as Jess let out a chuckle.

“Dadgum, you’d think you two were already married!” He looked pointedly at Slim as he walked past them to pour himself some coffee. “Oh, Daisy and Mike are coming down the road.”

“I uh, should go and see if Daisy needs any help.” Naomi excused herself as soon as Slim released her.

Slim stood and went to grab himself a cup while Jess plopped down at the table. “Jess, next time make sure we can hear you coming in.”

“Sure Pard.” Jess smirked. “Or maybe you two can cool it until Saturday before Daisy catches you.”

Slim just shook his head and returned Jess’ smirk. He knew better than to make any promises out loud.
